⚫ पुलिस अधीक्षक सुकमा श्री किरण चव्हाण द्वारा बताया गया कि जिला सुकमा के थाना किस्टाराम क्षेत्र में माओवादियों के उपस्थिति के आसूचना पर दिनांक 22.05.2025 को जिला सुकमा डीआरजी, एसटीएफ, कोबरा /CRPF की संयुक्त पुलिस पार्टी नक्सल विरोधी सर्च अभियान में रवाना हुए थे।
⚫ अभियान के दौरान दिनांक 22/05/2025 के शाम 06 बजे से पेसलपाड़ क्षेत्र में माओवादियों और सुरक्षा बलों के बीच लगातार फायरिंग हुई l
⚫ मुठभेड़ स्थल से 01 पुरूष वर्दीधारी हार्डकोर माओवादी का शव हथियार सहित बरामद हुआ हैं l

🟥 *Details तुमरेल मुठभेड़*
⚫ पुलिस अधीक्षक बीजापुर डॉ0 जितेन्द्र कुमार यादव द्वारा बताया गया कि जिला बीजापुर एवं सुकमा के सरहदी क्षेत्र में माओवादियों की उपस्थिति की आसूचना पर डीआरजी सुकमा, एसटीएफ एवं कोबरा 210, 208 की संयुक्त टीम माओवादी विरोधी अभियान पर निकली थी।
⚫अभियान के दौरान दिनांक 22/05/2025 के प्रात: थाना उसूर क्षेत्रान्तर्गत तुमरेल के जंगल में PLGA बटालियन नम्बर 01 के माओवादियों एवं पुलिस पार्टी के बीच मुठभेड़ हुई।
⚫ मुठभेड़ स्थल सर्च करने पर 01 हार्डकोर माओवादी का शव हथियार एवं अन्य माओवादी सामग्री बरामद हुआ हैं l

⚫तुमरेल मुठभेड़ मुठभेड़ स्थल में सर्च कार्यवाही के दौरान 12 बोर बंदूक- जिंदा राउण्ड, एसएलआर के मेग्जीन- जिंदा राउण्ड- खाली खोखे, हेंड ग्रेनेड, रेडियो सेट विस्फोटक, माओवादी वर्दी, बैनर, पाम्पलेट, नक्सली साहित्य एवं अन्य नक्सल सामग्री बरामद किया गया ।
⚫ तुमरेल में हुई मुठभेड़ में कोबरा 210 का जवान सोलंकी मेहुलभाई पिता स्व0नंनदलाल भाई निवासी देवगाना, तहसील सिहोर जिला भावनगर, गुजरात को पार्थिव शरीर को दिनांक 22/05/2025 को माना, रायपुर में राजकीय सम्मान के साथ “गार्ड आफ ऑनर” (श्रद्धांजली) दी गई । शहीद जवान का अंतिम संस्कार राजकीय सम्मान के साथ गृह ग्राम देवगाना, जिला भावनगर, गुजरात में किया गया l ।
🟥 *प्रतिबंधित और अवैध माओवादी संगठन के सदस्यों को चेतावनी*
⚫ बस्तर रेंज के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक श्री सुंदरराज पाटलिंगम ने बताया कि 21 मई 2025 को अबूझमाड़ के जंगलों में हुई ऐतिहासिक एंटी-नक्सल कार्रवाई, जिसमें सीपीआई माओवादी के शीर्ष कमांडर बावाराजू उर्फ B R दादा का अंत हुआ l उस मुठभेड़ के बाद माओवादी संगठन ताश के पत्तों की तरह बिखरने लगा है। अनेक नक्सली कैडर अपने छिपने के ठिकानों से भागकर आत्मसमर्पण के लिए आगे आ रहे हैं।
आईजीपी बस्तर रेंज ने प्रतिबंधित और अवैध माओवादी संगठन के सदस्यों को चेतावनी दी कि वे हिंसा का रास्ता छोड़कर मुख्यधारा में शामिल हो जाएं, अन्यथा अपने शीर्ष कमांडर बसाराजू की तरह भयावह अंत के लिए तैयार रहें।

🟥 Details: Pesalpad Encounter
⚫ Sukma Superintendent of Police Mr. Kiran Chavan stated that based on intelligence about the presence of Maoists in the Kistaram police station area of Sukma district, a joint police team comprising DRG Sukma, STF, CoBRA, and CRPF launched an anti-Naxal search operation on 22 May 2025.
⚫ During the operation, continuous exchange of fire occurred between Maoists and security forces in the Pesalpad area starting from 6:00 PM on 22/05/2025.
⚫ From the encounter site, the body of one male uniformed hardcore Maoist was recovered along with a weapon.
⚫ The preliminary identification of the Naxal killed in the Pesalpad encounter has been established as Area Committee Member Madvi Maada, who was also the Deputy Commander of the South Sub-Zonal Bureau.
⚫ Items recovered from the Pesalpad encounter site:

🟥 Details: Tumrel Encounter
⚫ Bijapur Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Kumar Yadav reported that based on intelligence inputs regarding Maoist presence in the border region of Bijapur and Sukma districts, a joint anti-Maoist operation was launched by DRG Sukma, STF, and CoBRA units 210 and 208.
⚫ During the operation on the morning of 22/05/2025, an encounter took place between Maoists of PLGA Battalion No. 01 and the police party in the forests of Tumrel under Usur police station limits.
⚫ Upon searching the encounter site, the body of one hardcore Maoist was recovered along with a weapon and other Maoist materials.
⚫ The preliminary identification of the Naxal killed in the Tumrel encounter has been confirmed as Sandesh alias Sannu, an Area Committee Member of the South Bastar Division Committee.
⚫ Materials recovered during search of the Tumrel encounter site included: a 12-bore gun with live rounds, SLR magazines with live and spent rounds, hand grenades, radio set, explosives, Maoist uniforms, banners, pamphlets, Maoist literature, and other items.
⚫ In the Tumrel encounter, CoBRA 210 trooper Mehulbhai Solanki, son of late Nandlalbhai, resident of Devgana, Tehsil Sehore, District Bhavnagar, Gujarat, was martyred. His mortal remains were given a “Guard of Honour” with full state honors on 22/05/2025 in Mana, Raipur. His last rites were performed with full state honors in his native village Devgana, Bhavnagar district, Gujarat.

🟥 Warning to Members of Banned Maoist Outfit
⚫ Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range), Shri Sundarraj Pattilingam stated that the historic anti-Naxal operation in the jungles of Abhujmad on 21 May 2025, which marked the end of top CPI (Maoist) commander Bavaraju alias B.R. Dada, has led to the collapse of the Maoist organization like a house of cards. Many cadres are fleeing from their hideouts and coming forward to surrender.
IGP Bastar Range Shri Sundarraj Pattlingam issues a stern warning to members of the banned and unlawful Maoist organization to give up violence and join the mainstream, or else face a dreadful fate like that of their erstwhile top commander Basaraju.
