🔶 *सीपीआई (माओवादी) को एक बड़ा झटका देते हुए उसका महासचिव और शीर्ष नेता नंबाला केशव राव उर्फ बसवराजु @ बीआर दादा @ गगन्ना को अबूझमाड़ के जंगलों में एक मुठभेड़ में डीआरजी टीमें ने मार गिराया गया।*
🔶 *नारायणपुर, दंतेवाड़ा, बीजापुर और कोण्डागांव से डीआरजी (DRG) की टीमें अबूझमाड़ के जंगलों में इस निर्णायक अभियान के लिए रवाना की गई थीं।*
🔶 *अब तक कुल 27 माओवादी आतंकवादियों के शव, जिनमें सीपीआई (माओवादी) के महासचिव नंबाला केशव राव उर्फ बसवराजु @ बीआर दादा @ गगन्ना शामिल हैं, बरामद किए गए हैं।*
🔶 *तलाशी अभियान के दौरान बड़ी मात्रा में AK-47, SLR, INSAS, कार्बाइन सहित भारी मात्रा में अन्य हथियार और गोला-बारूद बरामद किए गए हैं।*
■ दिनांक 19 मई 2025 को नारायणपुर, बीजापुर और दंतेवाड़ा जिलों के सीमावर्ती अबूझमाड़ क्षेत्र में माओवादी नेताओं की उपस्थिति की पुख्ता आसुचना के आधार पर ऑपरेशन शुरू किया गया था। इसमें नारायणपुर, दंतेवाड़ा, बीजापुर और कोण्डागांव से डीआरजी की संयुक्त टीमें शामिल थीं।
■ 21 मई की सुबह माओवादी दस्ते ने सुरक्षा बलों पर अंधाधुंध गोलीबारी शुरू की। जवाबी कार्रवाई में सुरक्षाबलों ने साहस और रणनीतिक कुशलता के साथ मुकाबला किया, जिसमें 27 माओवादी मारे गए, जिनमें बसवराजु भी शामिल है।

■ यह अभियान छत्तीसगढ़ में वामपंथी उग्रवाद के विरुद्ध लड़ाई में एक निर्णायक मोड़ साबित हुआ है। भारत सरकार और छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार माओवादी हिंसा के समूल नाश के लिए अपनी दृढ़ प्रतिबद्धता दोहराते हैं।

🔶 Delivering a major blow to the CPI (Maoist), its General Secretary and top leader Nambala Keshav Rao alias Basavaraju @ BR Dada @ Ganganna was neutralised by DRG teams in a historic encounter in the forests of Abujhmad.
🔶 DRG teams from Narayanpur/Dantewada/Bijapur/Kondagaon were launched for this decisive operation in the jungles of Abhujmad.
🔶 So far, a total of 27 Naxalite bodies including that of CPI(Maoist) General Secretary Nambala Keshav Rao @ Basvaraju @ BR Dada @ Gaganna and a large number of weapons have been recovered during the operation.
🔶 Huge quantities of AK-47, SLR, INSAS, Carbine and other arms and ammunitions recovered in the search operation
■ Based on intelligence inputs regarding presence of CPI Maoist General Secretary Basavaraju and other senior cadres of DKSZC and PLGA formations, a joint DRG teams of Chhattisgarh Police from Narayanpur/Dantewada/Bijapur/Kondagaon were launched for this decisive operation in the jungles of Abhujmad along the border region of Narayanpur, Bijapur, and Dantewada on 19th of May 2025.
■ During the course of search operation, on 21/05/2025 forenoon Maoist opened indiscriminate fire upon the security forces. In retaliation security forces fought back bravely and tactfully against the illegal and banned CPI Maoist outfit.
■ When the area was searched upon after exchange of fire, in total 27 Naxalite bodies including that of CPI(Maoist) General Secretary Nambala Keshav Rao @ Basvaraju @ BR Dada @ Gaganna and a large number of weapons have been recovered during the operation.

Name: Nambala Kesava Rao @ Gaganna @Basava Raju @ BR Dada Age 70 years approx. Resident of Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh State.
Designation in banned and unlawful CPI(Maoist): General Secretary, Central Military Commision Chief, Polit Bureau Member, Central Committee Member
■ Preliminary Inspection of the encounter spot reveals that several other senior-level Maoist cadres have either been killed or seriously injured in this operation.
■ Search operation for any injured or absconding Maoist cadres is being carried out in the nearby jungle area.
■ Despite difficult geographical conditions and multiple challenges, the security forces are advancing this decisive campaign against left-wing extremism with full commitment and determination.
■ One DRG team member was martyred while bravely confronting the Naxalite attack. The mortal remains of the martyred is being brought to the District Headquarters Narayanpur.
■ A few other personnel sustained injuries during the encounter. All the injured have been given immediate medical attention and are now out of danger.

■ It is worth mentioning that as per the commitment of both Government of India and Chhattisgarh Government to eradicate the decade long Naxal menace the security forces are carrying out decisive operations against the banned and illegal Maoist outfit.
