हिंसा का मार्ग छोड़कर मुख्यधारा में शांतिपूर्ण जीवन अपनाने की अपनी इच्छा व्यक्त करते हुए सरकार के समक्ष आगे आया है।
पुनर्वास की प्रक्रिया के अंतर्गत वे AK-47 राइफलें तथा अन्य श्रेणीबद्ध हथियार भी सौंपेंगे।
24 मार्च 2026 को हुई यह महत्वपूर्ण घटना इस बात का सशक्त प्रमाण है कि नक्सल-मुक्त बस्तर का संकल्प अब वास्तविकता का रूप ले चुका है।
दंडकारण्य क्षेत्र में माओवादी आंदोलन के इतिहास में पहली बार नक्सल संगठन प्रभावी रूप से नेतृत्वविहीन हो गया है।
सरकार की परिकल्पना और क्षेत्र के लोगों की लंबे समय से रही आकांक्षा के अनुरूप, बस्तर अब एक नई ऊर्जा, नए उत्साह और सकारात्मक पहचान के साथ और अधिक सशक्त होकर उभरने की दिशा में अग्रसर है।
सरकार एवं प्रशासन ने आशा ब्यक्त कि शेष बचे कुछ कैडर, जो वर्तमान में छोटे-छोटे समूहों में भटक रहे हैं, वे भी आने वाले दिनों में शांति का मार्ग चुनते हुए मुख्यधारा में लौटने का निर्णय लेंगे।
साउथ सब ज़ोनल ब्यूरो क्षेत्र से आत्मसमर्पण करने वाले इन सभी 18 कैडरों, जिनमें DKSZC सदस्य पापा राव भी शामिल हैं, के औपचारिक पुनर्समावेशन की प्रक्रिया आगामी समय में सम्पन्न की जाएगी।
The surrender of DKSZC member and South Sub Zonal Bureau in-charge Pappa Rao, along with 17 other cadres, marks a decisive breakthrough in our sustained efforts to bring an end to Left Wing Extremism in the region.
The group of 18 Maoist cadres including DKSZC member Pappa Rao, DVCM Prakash Madvi, DVCM Anil Tatti has reached out to the Government expressing their willingness to shun violence and embrace a peaceful life in the mainstream. As part of the surrender process, they will be handing over AK-47 rifles and other graded weapons.
Out of the 18 surrendered cadres 07 are female cadres.
This significant development on 24 March 2026 stands as a strong testimony that the mission of creating a Naxal-free Bastar is steadily moving towards becoming a reality.
For the first time in the history of the Maoist movement in Dandakaranya, the Naxal outfit has effectively become leaderless.
As envisioned by the Government and passionately desired by the people of the region, Bastar is now set to emerge stronger, carrying a renewed spirit and a positive identity for the future.
We remain hopeful that the few remaining cadres, now wandering in small scattered groups, will also choose the path of peace and return to the mainstream in the coming days.
The formal reintegration process of all 18 surrendered cadres from the South Sub Zonal Bureau area, including DKSZC member Pappa Rao, will be carried out subsequently.
